On March 7 Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU) held an event on the occasion of the International Women’s Day 8 March. Female employees and students of the university attended the event.

ASOIU Vice-Rector for Educational Affairs, Associate Professor Ata Babayev congratulated the female staff members of ASOIU on this remarkable holiday, wished them good health, family happiness, success in their professional and personal life.

Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, Associate Professor Gasim Mammadov congratulated all the female employees of the university on the occasion of 8th of March. Vice-Rector Mammadov spoke about the roles and activities of women in the society and gave information on the history of March 8 as a holiday.

ASOIU Rector, Professor Mustafa Babanli extended congratulations to the female employees on the International Women’s Day and talked about women’s rights and freedom. He stressed that Azerbaijani women have always been distinguished for positive values and high moral qualities.   

Holiday presents were then given to a group of female employees and students of ASOIU.
