On March 14 Rector of Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU), Professor Mustafa Babanli met with the Director of the Institute of Scientific Research on Economic Reforms of the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Professor Vilayat Valiyev.

The meeting featured discussions about issues of mutual interest, and the sides emphasized the importance of the unity of science and experience and carrying out work in the areas of joint cooperation. Expressing satisfaction with seeing the guests at the university, Rector, Professor Babanli stressed the significance of conducting joint work in the training of research fellows, selection of diploma thesis topics, mutual application of production and science, as well as in experience exchange. Speaking of reforms, admission rate, startup projects of the university and its relations with businesses, Rector, Professor Babanli touched upon the importance of building ties with companies, specializing in industry trends, and directing education contents to the economy.

Director of the Institute of Scientific Research on Economic Reforms of the Ministry of Economy, Professor Vilayat Valiyev said they are ready to always support ASOIU in energy and many other issues, as well as in preparing joint projects. He pointed at the importance of providing practical opportunities and benefitting from the existing ones.

At the meeting, the sides discussed to cooperate in establishing joint laboratories, developing scientific and training topics, conducting research works, supporting new projects, etc.
