On March 15 Rector of Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU), Professor Mustafa Babanli visited three faculties of the university on the occasion of the Novruz holiday. Congratulating the staff members of the Faculties of Oil Mechanical Engineering (FOME), Information Technologies and Management (FITM) and Oil and Gas Production (FOGP) on Novruz holiday, Rector Babanli wished them good health and success in their endeavors.

Rector Babanli said the Novruz holiday, that includes national values of the Azerbaijani people, is one of the most ancient holidays. He underlined that for this very reason the arrival of the spring is of great importance for each Azerbaijani. Extending holiday congratulations to the staff members of the faculties, Rector then spoke about the work being done at the university, existing problems, forthcoming plans and noted the achievements of the university for the last one year.

Rector Babanli said the growing influence of ASOIU in the country, rapid increase in the admission rate to Bachelor’s, Master’s and Ph.D. degrees, improvement of the education content, renovation of the material and technical base are the vivid example of the latest achievements of the university. He touched upon taking measures to resolve the existing issues.

ASOIU faculty deans and staff members joined the holiday congratulations, expressed their gratitude to Rector Babanli for attention. They noted that they will put all their efforts to increase the influence of the university and support the goals set.

In conclusion, Rector Babanli once again congratulated the faculty staff members on the Novruz holiday. Overall considering the current report year satisfactory, Rector Babanli pointed at the significance of not slowing down and moving towards greater goals.
