The Academic Board of Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU) held its next meeting on March 28.

ASOIU Rector, Professor Mustafa Babanli informed the Board members about the issues on the agenda.

Chief Accountant Ali Aliyev provided the Academic Board members with comprehensive information on financial and administrative activities. Head of Science and Inventiveness Office, Ph.D. in Geology and Mineralogy Mubariza Ibrahimli made a report on the results of research works conducted at ASOIU in 2017.

Then Academic Council Yetar Aliyeva informed the Board members about qualification works. Dean of the Faculty of Information Technologies and Management, Associate Professor Samad Yusifov made a yearly report.

The Academic Board also featured discussions about the status of posting necessary materials on e-university, launching a scholarship named after Academician Murtuza Naghiyev, status of internships of fourth-year undergraduate and second-year postgraduate students, preparation for the admission to Master’s degree in the 2018/2019 academic year, disciplinary and other issues.
