Academic staff members of the Faculty of Oil Mechanical Engineering of Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU) visited Metak company. The meeting was attended by the dean of the Faculty of Oil Mechanical Engineering, Associate Professor Ali Hikmat Ahmadov, head of the Department of Mechanics, Professor Alasgar Aliyev, head of the Department of Machine Building and Materials Science, Associate Professor Tahir Jabbarov, deputy dean Tahir Suleymanov, Associate Professor of the Department of Oil and Gas Equipment Jamaladdin Aslanov and technical director of Metak company Mubariz Azizov.
Ali Hikmat Ahmadov provided comprehensive information on the training of engineering specialists, taught programs at his faculty and noted the importance of expanding the ties with institutions working with up-to-date progressive technology. Associate Professor Ahmadov said ASOIU tends to raise students in line with modern requirements of the labor market and spoke about the reforms being carried out at the university in this area.
Technical director of Metak company Mubariz Azizov expressed his belief that such meetings will make a great contribution to both sides.
The meeting featured discussions on implementing joint work between the university and company, supporting daily internship program, tackling the problems occurring during the manufacturing process, etc.
Then the meeting participants visited the manufacturing workshops and became familiar with the company products.
