On April 23 Rector of Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU), Professor Mustafa Babanli met with Kenzebek Ibrashev, Rector of Kazakh-British Technical University.
Providing the guests with comprehensive information on ASOIU’s history, international cooperation ties, training process, taught programs, Startup school and Azerbaijani-French University (UFAZ), Rector, Professor Babanli said ASOIU, which is the oldest technical higher education institution of Azerbaijan, carries out large-scale reforms to bring back its reputation. Highlighting that besides quality, quantity figures have also risen against the background of the ongoing development at the university, Professor Babanli stressed that almost 500 international students are currently enrolled in the university. Rector Babanli said he sees Kazakhstan as a friend and brother country and expressed confidence in successful cooperation with the Kazakh-British Technical University as a reliable partner.
Saying it is pleasure to be at ASOIU, Rector of the Kazakh-British Technical University Ibashev spoke about international relations, scientific work, and training process of the institutions he leads. Ibashev noted that Kazakh youth has a particular interest in studying at ASOIU and pointed at the significance of expanding the cooperation in the field of mobility and other areas.
The sides then signed a memorandum on academic mobility and student exchange, and the guests received a memorable gift.
