UFAZ holds exhibition within Francophonie Week

On April 23 the Azerbaijani-French University (UFAZ) functioning under Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU) held an exhibition within the framework of the Francophonie Week. The exhibition titled “Colourful Soul” featured 23 paintings of a young artist Musa Niftali. Paintings describing the Azerbaijani-French friendship were among exhibits as well. UFAZ faculty members and students, as well as famous art figures, people’s artists and painting admirers took part in the exhibition.

Welcoming the attendees, UFAZ Director, Associate Professor Vazeh Asgarov provided information on the UFAZ project. Saying that the event takes place within the Francophonie Week, Asgarov especially pointed at the pieces of art featuring the Azerbaijani-French friendship.

Attending the exhibition, Secretary of the Union of Artists of Azerbaijan, People’s Artist Aghali Ibrahimov, People’s Artist Arif Huseynov and other esteemed guests said that each painting of young talented Musa Niftali is very important and was made with great efforts.

Young artist Musa Niftali expressed his gratitude to everyone for their participation, saying that he will do his utmost to justify the confidence of his teachers.
