On May 4, Rector of Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU), Professor Mustafa Babanli met with Jean Bera, honorary guest of the university, recognized expert at French company Total, member of Total Professors Association.

Expressing satisfaction with having the guest at the university, Rector, Professor Babanli spoke about the university’s cooperation and ties with foreign higher education institutions. Rector Babanli also listened to the guest’s impressions of the university and students.

Professor Jean Bera said he was content with student’s level of preparedness and approach to lessons. He stressed the importance of assimilating practical habits to students.

Notably, Jean Bera delivers lectures to the students of ASOIU’s Faculty of Oil and Gas Production and the students of the Azerbaijani-French University (UFAZ). The French professor will hold seminars at ASOIU from April 30 to May 5.
