The second meeting of the organizing committee of the international conference on “Energy of the Future: Challenges and Opportunities” to take place in Baku on September 11-12 was held at Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU) on May 8.
Opening the meeting, ASOIU Rector, Professor Mustafa Babanli pointed out the goals of the conference and informed the attendees of the significance of topics to be covered, guests to be invited, keynotes, and other work to be done. Issues standing on the agenda of the conference were then discussed. It was emphasized that the conference will be held regularly depending upon the final results.
MP Malahat Ibrahimgizi spoke about the significance of topics to be discussed. She stressed the importance of introducing the conference at the international level, expressing her confidence that involvement of influential specialists from foreign countries will contribute to global energy challenges.
The meeting also featured discussions on scientific, organizational financial and other issues. Participants shared their ideas about the program of the conference.
