The awarding ceremony of winners of the Contest on mathematics, physics and chemistry organized for high school seniors was held at Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU) on May 11. The event was attended by members of the organizing committee of the Contest, winning students and their parents.

Executive Secretary of the Organizing Committee, Head of the Department of Management and Systems Engineering, Professor Farid Aghayev expressed gratitude to everyone who contributed to the Contest, saying that the goal is to increase the interest of young people in exact sciences, discover talented students.

In conclusion, students demonstrating the highest result were awarded honorary certificate.

Notably, a total of 208 eleventh-graders from Baku secondary schools took part in the Subject Skills Contest. The exam was written, in Azerbaijani and Russian languages. Each student had a right to choose only one subject.
