On May 18, Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU) held an awareness-raising event organized by the AIDS (Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome) Center of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

At the event, the AIDS Center staff held Human Immunodeficiency Virus Infection lab testing for students. In addition, students were provided with awareness-raising information on fighting AIDS. In conclusion, the organizers thanked the university management for the conditions created. 

Notably, the event took place within the framework of the “European HIV testing week”. The events organized in the context of the campaign are aimed at preventing the spreading of HIV in Azerbaijan, raising the awareness of population of HIV/AIDS, promoting healthy and safe way of living.
