On May 24, Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU) held a meeting with the representatives of the Institute for Scientific Research on Economic Reforms of the Ministry of Economy and Sumgait Chemical Industrial Park LLC.

Rector of ASOIU, Professor Mustafa Babanli welcomed the representatives of the Institute for Scientific Research on Economic Reforms and Sumgait Chemical Industrial Park LLC and spoke about reforms being recently conducted at the university. Saying that ASOIU attaches particular importance to relations with industrial enterprises, Rector, Professor Mustafa Babanli noted that their goal is to train well-educated professionals for the country. Rector Babanli also informed about the Startup Center for students to build innovative business and stressed the importance of involving students and graduates with innovative ideas in industrial parks. Rector Babanli brought to attention that the joint cooperation will be very beneficial for the sides in scientific issues as well.

Pointing at the significance of strengthening the ties between enterprises, Director of the Institute for Scientific Research on Economic Reforms of the Ministry of Economy, Professor, Ph.D. in Economics Vilayat Valiyev said he is pleased to cooperate with ASOIU.

Providing brief information on the enterprise he represents, Director of Sumgait Chemical Industrial Park LLC Nazim Talibov said there are enough opportunities for the joint cooperation of the sides.

At the end of the meeting, ASOIU, Institute for Scientific Research on Economic Reforms and Sumgait Chemical Industrial Park concluded a contract on cooperation.
