On May 29, Rector of Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU), Professor Mustafa Babanli met with Victor Bariudin, Director of Engineering Inspection Division of the Israeli Ministry of National Infrastructures, Energy and Water Resources.

Speaking about reforms being recently conducted at ASOIU, Rector, Professor Mustafa Babanli delivered information on the training process, international relations, startup projects and so on. Rector Mustafa Babanli said that five programs of ASOIU have been accredited by FIBAA for five years, as being in line with European Standards. He provided the guest with information on the activities directed at the involvement of visiting professors, exchange programs, education in English, admission to Bachelor’s, Master’s and Ph.D. degrees and others. 

Victor Bariudin, Director of Engineering Inspection Division of the Israeli Ministry of National Infrastructures, Energy and Water Resources and also an ASOIU graduate, thanked Rector, Prof Mustafa Babanli for the warm welcome. Saying that ASOIU is a university with great traditions, Victor Bariudin proposed to send the staff members of his organization to a course at ASOIU to improve their qualification. Victor Bariudin also noted that it is possible to cooperate in the field of Computer Science.

The meeting featured an exchange of views on possible areas of cooperation.
