The next meeting of the Academic Board was held at Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU) on May 30. ASOIU Rector, Professor Mustafa Babanli briefed the Board members about the issues on the agenda.

Dean of the Master’s Degree Division, Candidate of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor Azizagha Gurbanov gave information about the condition of the Master’s degree training at ASOIU. Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, Associate Professor Gasim Mammadov made a report on open lectures held in different academic degrees in the 2017/2018 academic year.

Then Director of the Department of Information Technologies Elnur Safarli presented a report on the yearly activities of the Department.

The meeting also featured discussions on the condition of preparatory works for the spring examination session of the 2017/2018 academic year, outcomes of the practical internship at ASOIU, improvement of UFAZ project, condition of the University grant project and other issues.
