On June 25, Rector of Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU), Professor Mustafa Babanli met with students who won the ActInSpace international contest hosted by the Azerbaijani-French University (UFAZ) and received a chance to participate in the international final in Toulouse, France.
Rector Mustafa Babanli congratulated the winning team and expressed belief that this success will continue in France as well. He expressed confidence that students will worthily represent ASOIU and UFAZ in the international final and gave them some important recommendations.
UFAZ Executive Director, Associate Professor Vazeh Asgarov and Secretary General Charlotte Payen wished students best of luck, adding they believe that the team will justify everyone’s confidence.
Notably, on May 25 and 26, UFAZ hosted ActInSpace, the top international competition devoted to aerospace applications and organized directly by CNES, ESA, and ESA BIC Sud France. UFAZ Sooners team became the winner of the competition in Azerbaijan, followed by another UFAZ team - Tensor Science. The winning team traveled to Toulouse, France to represent Azerbaijan in the international final on June 27.
