Head of Economic Division for Asia and CIS at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Israel, Michael Lotem and Ambassador of Israel to Azerbaijan Dan Stav visited Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU) on July 2. The guests first became acquainted with the startup projects of ASOIU’s eazi START Startup and Innovation Center. They hailed the startup projects and touched upon the importance of supporting innovative ideas.   

Then the guests met with ASOIU Rector, Professor Mustafa Babanli and received detailed information about the university. Rector Babanli expressed satisfaction with welcoming the guests at the university and informed them of the university’s history, international relations and connections with Israel, as well as future projects.  

The guests stressed that benefitting from ASOIU’s experience in oil-gas and energy, as well as sharing Israel’s experience in this area are the main direction of the future cooperation. They also pointed out the significance of student mobility and development of mutual projects in other spheres.
