On July 18, Rector of Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU), Professor Mustafa Babanli met with the working party of the international conference on “Energy of the Future: Challenges and Opportunities”, which will take place at ASOIU in September.
The meeting was attended by Chairman of the National Nuclear Research Center under the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Academician Adil Garibov, Deputy Chairman Jalal Naghiyev, ASOIU Vice-Rector for Science and Technology (for Scientific Affairs), Associate Professor Rauf Aliyarov, Dean of the Faculty of Power Engineering, Associate Professor Zakir Hasanov, Deputy Dean Orkhan Karimzada.
Chairman of the National Nuclear Research Center, Academician Adil Garibov spoke about novelties in modern energy and stressed the importance of the international conference that is planned to be held in September. Academician Adil Garibov underlined that ASOIU brought valuable specialists to Azerbaijan in the field of energy and thanked ASOIU for their support to organize the conference.
ASOIU Rector, Professor Mustafa Babanli also emphasized the significance of the international conference on “Energy of the Future: Challenges and Opportunities” and highlighted that it remains as the hot issue of the modern world. Rector Babanli said the conference is of great importance in terms of sharing novelties and experience in this field. He informed the guests of the work done within the Faculty of Power Engineering and forthcoming plans.
The meeting also featured discussions on the program of the conference, list of guests to be invited and topics to be discussed.
