Within his visit to Ukraine, Rector of Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU), Professor Mustafa Babanli attended the opening of the Ukraine-Azerbaijan Center at Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava National Technical University.

The Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine was represented by Y.A. Shapovalova, Director of Ukranian State Center for International Education.

National anthems of the two states were played, and the ribbon was cut. Y.A. Shapovalova, Rector of Poltava National Technical University, Professor V.A. Onishenko, Professor Mustafa Babanli and a representative from Azerbaijani students addressed the ceremony.

A contract on double diplomas between the universities was signed at the end of the event.
