On October 9, the next meeting with European experts within the framework of the Twinning project 'Support to Strengthening the Higher Education System in Azerbaijan' was held at the Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU). The meeting regarding to the methodology development to consider labor market information in educational programs for specific specialties, attended by Resident Twinning Advisor of the project, representative of the French Pedagogical Research Center Liza Bydanova, Lithuanian representative, Lithuanian President's Education Advisor Saule Macuikiaite-Zviniene, Latvian expert, Mrs. Jolanta Silka, and also French expert Didier Ronze

After giving general information about the project, close cooperation of the universities with the labor market and many other issues in this direction were discussed at the event. It should be noted that the Twinning project on 'Support to Strengthening the Higher Education System in Azerbaijan' which funded by the European Union and realized with the joint partnership of the relevant educational institutions from France, Lithuania, Latvia and the Ministry of Education of Azerbaijan started in April 2018, will last for two years. The main purpose of the project is to develop a higher education system of Azerbaijan by adjusting to competency-based education approach.
