Head of the Department of General and Applied Mathematics of the Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU), Doctor of Mathematical Sciences, Professor Araz Aliyev attended the international conference titled "Spectral theory and mixed issues" dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the Honored scientist of the Russian Federation, Doctor in Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Professor Y.T.Sultanayev at Bashkir State Pedagogical University named after M. Akmulla. At the conference, he delivered a plenary report on "The fourth compiled operator modeling the elasticity theory - solution of the differential equation".
On October 4-7, Professor Araz Aliyev and fourth-year student of "Computer Science" Elnur Alimirzayev attended the VIII International Scientific-Practical Conference titled "Mathematical Modeling of Processes and Systems" which was held at Sterlitamak branch of Bashkir State University. At this conference, ASOIU's representatives also were offered to deliver a report at the plenary session. First of all, Professor Araz Aliyev gave a brief information about the report, and then the student Elnur Alimirzayev made a report on "Computer model of solving the problem of traffic in the distributed system".
During the trip, the report was welcomed with interest by the conference participants and was rated as the best speech of the conference. Bashkir State Television held an interview with Professor Araz Aliyev and student Elnur Alimirzayev. Professor Araz Aliyev conducted scientific discussions with the employees of Moscow State University named after M. Lomonosov, Bashkir State Pedagogical University named after M. Akmulla, and an agreement was reached to carry out joint scientific researches in the future.
