The meeting with the students was held at Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU) within the framework of "First Steps in Career" project with the initiative of the Standard Insurance Company and the organization of the Faculty of Economics and Management. The meeting attended by a dean of the faculty of Economics and Management, Associated Professor Ilham Rustamov, the Chairman of the Board of "Standard Insurance" Anar Sadikhov, Deputy Chairman of Association of Insurers of Azerbaijan Vugar Aliyev, director of the "Asprof" company Jahid Gurbanov, employees of Financial Market Supervisory Authority Anar Islamov, Aydan Khankishiyeva, teaching staff and students.
Speaking about the importance of cooperation with Standard Insurance, Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Management Ilham Rustamov noted that within the framework of the daily internship program of ASOIU students, they have passed internship in the company.
The Chairman of the Board of "Standard Insurance" Anar Sadikhov noted that holding such meetings with students is a very important step for their future career and also spoke about the moments which are necessary to take the first steps in the career. At the event, students were provided with information about the development of insurance and it was emphasized that there is a serious need for new generation insurers'.
In the end, students received answers for their questions.
It should be noted a student of Economics and Management faculty Orkhan Gulmammadli have been involved in the
internship in Standard İnsurance Company since last academic year. After five months internship he was
hired by Standard Insurance Company. He is currently working as an insurance agent.
