On October 27, rector of Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU), Professor Mustafa Babanli met with the delegation headed by Professor Christian Tietyen, rector of the University Halle-Wittenberg of Germany named after Martin Luther.

Expressing satisfaction with having the guests at the university, Rector, Professor Mustafa Babanli provided comprehensive information on the history of the university, its training process, faculties, international relations, startup projects, foreign students, HPC center and the Azerbaijani-French University (UFAZ) functioning under the ASOIU. Speaking about the relations, exchange programs with the universities of Germany, rector Mustafa Babanli attached particular importance to the development of ties, as well as the cooperation in the field of student and professor exchange and the application of new technologies in teaching.

Providing information about the university he represents, rector K.Tietye noted that he is interested in cooperation with ASOIU in the field of student exchange and involving professors. Saying that it is necessary to start cooperation between the two universities within the framework of existing exchange programs with Germany, K.Tietye noted that, he believes further development of relations in order to expand this cooperation.
