On October 26, Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU) was represented at the "round table" on the first meeting of alumnus studied in Azerbaijan within the framework of the VI Baku International Humanitarian Forum and "Investing in the Future: Towards Sustainable and Inclusive Development". Rector of ASOIU, Professor Mustafa Babanli was a moderator at the panel which was held on "Energy in the center of sustainable and inclusive development”.

The presentation of the International Association of Azerbaijan Foreign Alumnus was held within the framework of the "round table" by the Azerbaijan International Development Agency of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan (AIDA). Founders of the organization that unites foreign alumnus in Azerbaijan were ASOIU, ADA University and Azerbaijan University of Languages.

Note that the event attended by more than 60 students representing 25 countries studied in Azerbaijan, foreign students studying in our country within the framework of the grant programs for the citizens of member states of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation and Non-Aligned Movement, under the orders of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, state and government officials, heads of the universities and representatives of the science community.
