The 3rd Eastern Partnership E-Infrastructure Conference (EaPEC 2018) was held in Chisinau, Moldova.

 

The purpose of the conference is to establish cooperation between scientific and educational societies in the EU and Eastern Partnership countries (Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova, and Ukraine) within the framework of the EaPConnect project.

 

As part of the event were held seminars on cybersecurity, cloud services, including services provided by national research and education networks and to the winners of the “Enlighten Your Research” competition were presented awards. Among the winners was the head of the laboratory of "Physical properties of rocks of oil and gas deposit" of Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU), Doctor of physics and mathamatics sciences Adalat Hasanov.

The project "Creating a Single Database for Studying Oil and Gas Fields in Azerbaijan", presented by laboratory staff, was selected as one of the winners of the "Enlight Your Research" competition.

 

Making a report at the event, Hasanov provided information to the participants about the project and emphasized the importance of researches.
