On November 2, the teaching staff of the Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU) visited the Weir Oil and Gas company.
 
Dean of the Faculty of Oil Mechanical Engineering, Associate Professor Ali Hikmat Ahmadov, Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Oil Mechanical Engineering Tahir Suleymanov, Head of the Department of Mechanics, Professor Alasgar Aliyev, head of the Department of Oil and Gas Production Jamaladdin Aslanov, head of the Department of Machine Building and Materials Science, Associate Professor Tahir Jabbarov, 
 
General Director of Weir Oil and Gas Company for Russia and Central Asia Altug Bilgic and Head of the Weir SOS Limited & Weir Solutions FZE to Azerbaijan and Kazakh Delegation Farid Aghayev attended the meeting. At the meeting, the discussions were held on inviting students to the "Weir Oil and Gas" company to pass internship, to work, as well as to conduct laboratory and training classes in the companies, to invite experienced specialists to the university as "invited professors".
 
In the end, an agreement was reached on bilateral cooperation.
