On November 21, Vice President for Safety and Operational Risk of BP Orkhan Guliyev held a seminar for students on "Application of Risk Management in Oil and Gas Industry" at Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University.

Making a presentation devoted on risks management in oil and gas field, O. Guliyev noted the specific hazards in the oil and gas industry and spoke about the measures to be taken to eliminate these risks. Speaking about the evaluation of risk at all stages of oil and gas projects in indefinite and limited information condition, accidents and its modern solutions, O. Guliyev explained to students the importance of management in risk conditions. The seminar also featured a discussion on involving young personnel to prevent potential dangers in the oil and gas industry.

At the end of the seminar, students received answers to their questions.
