On December 6, the next event with the support of the Ministry of Culture within the framework of the "Day of Azerbaijani Cinema" dedicated to the 120th anniversary of Azerbaijani cinema was held at the Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU).

Opening the event, director of Public Relations and Marketing Department of ASOIU Bahruz Nazarov spoke about the importance of President Ilham Aliyev's decree on holding the 120th anniversary of Azerbaijani national cinema.

The employee of Cinematography Department of the Ministry of Culture of Azerbaijan Elshad Aliyev spoke about the propaganda of patriotism. Noting that the ministry's main activity is the promotion of documentary films about Azerbaijani heroes, E. Aliyev said that 77 films were filmed about Azerbaijan National Heroes.

Later, the film "Return" about the Azerbaijani military officer of the Russian empire, general of full cavalry troops Hussein Khan Nakhchivanski was demonstrated.
