On December 20, with the organization of the Student Trade Union Committee (STUC) an intellectual competition "Brain ring" was held at the Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU). The competition was attended by 7 faculties of ASOIU, as well as BBA, ZU programs, SABAH teams and the Azerbaijani-French University (UFAZ) functioning under the university.

The competition was attended by the academic staff and students of the university.

After the intense knowledge struggle, ASOIU's Economy and Management team became the winner. The team of Sabah groups of the university ranked in 2nd,  Azerbaijani-French team ranked the 3rd place.

In the end, the winners of the competition were presented awards and cup.
