On December 22 the 5th Alumni Career Exhibition was held at Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU). At the exhibition, 68 companies offered a total of 436 vacancies to ASOIU students and alumni. The exhibition was attended by SOCAR, BP, KCA Deutag, Azersu OJSC, Azerenergy OJSC, SOCAR Polymer, Schlumberger and other state and private companies. Visited by up to 3000 students and alumni, the event caused a keen interest of participants. 

 

Making a speech at the ceremony of the exhibition, ASOIU rector, professor Mustafa Babanli highlighted the importance of Alumni-Career exhibitions for students and university which had turned into a tradition. Providing information about the training of students as a professional staff, that meets the requirements of the country’s economy and industry, rector, professor. M. Babanlı pointed out that the companies, as well as students and graduates, demonstrated great activity at the V Alumni Career Exhibition.

 

Later, ASOIU rector, professor Mustafa Babanli then viewed the company stands. Company representatives provided information to the rector M. Babanli about the available vacancies and internship programs. 

Some of the company's representatives noted that in order to discuss issues related to the deepening ties with ASOIU and expanding students' internship they want to meet with the university administration. In order to hold negotiations with these companies, rector, professor M. Babanli invited them to university and gave them relevant tasks.

 

 At the 5th Alumni Career Exhibition which was observed with great activity, about 2320 applications for job and internship were filled and submitted to the companies by the students and graduates of the university.

 

The exhibition lasted from 10:00 to 12:00.
