On December 21, rector of the Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU), professor Mustafa Babanli met with a delegation led by Jan Xiaohu, the secretary of  Party Committee of Lanzhou University of Art and Science of China. 

 

Being pleased to see the guests at the university rector of ASOIU, Professor M. Babanli provided detailed information about the history of the university, educational process, faculties, international relations, and other issues. Saying that 595 Chinese students have graduated from the university since 2000, rector, professor Mustafa Babanli noted that at present 47 Chinese citizens continue their study here. Speaking about the works which were carried out in the direction of improving the quality of education at ASOIU, the rector, professor M. Babanli touched upon the joint importance of cooperation on student-teacher exchange and other areas.

 

Expressing his gratitude to the rector Mustafa Babanli for the warm welcome, Jan Xiaohui, the secretary of the Party Committee of the Lanzhou University of Arts and Sciences, provided information about the university he represents. Stressing the importance of cooperation with ASOIU, Yan Xiaohui expressed confidence that the agreement, which will be signed between the universities will benefit both sides.

 

At the meeting, the agreement on cooperation was signed between ASOIU and Lanzhou University of Art and Science.

 

Later, the delegation of Lanjou University of Arts and Sciences met with Chinese students studying at ASOIU.
