Rector of Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU), professor Mustafa Babanli visited faculties and departments of the university on occasion with the World Azerbaijanis Solidarity Day and New Year
Visiting the faculties of Geological Exploration, Faculty of Oil and Gas Production, Information Technologies and Management, Magistracy department, International students dean's office and other departments, rector Mustafa Babanli congratulated to academic and the whole staff of the university on occasion with the World Azerbaijanis Solidarity Day and New Year, and wished them success in their activities.
Evaluating 2018 as one of the most productive years for ASOIU, rector M.Babanli noted that many achievements in the life and teaching of the university were achieved current year. Saying that the steps will be taken to further improvement in connection with the quality for the next year, rector, professor Mustafa Babanli underlined that some of the shortages in this field will be eliminated in 2019.
Rector M.Babanli said that significant changes were achieved in ASOIU regarding scientific work, adding that this year the number of scientific articles, as well as cooperation with some prestigious universities and companies around the world increased.
Speaking about the goals and works that will be implemented in 2019, professor M.Babanli emphasized that, the large-scale works were carried out in the direction of increasing the quantity and quality of scientific works at ASOIU, developing laboratories at the university, and other issues.
Expressing their gratitude to the rector Mustafa Babanli for his wishes, faculty deans of ASOIU highly appreciated the reforms carried out at the university in 2018 and promised to do their best to continue this work also the next year.
At the end, the rector M.Babanli congratulated all the academic staff and students of ASOIU on occasion with the World Azerbaijanis Solidarity Day and the New Year and expressed confidence that the university will achieve greater success in 2019.
