On December 18 former president of Virginia State University (USA) Keith T. Miller met with the team of the Center for Intellectual Property Management at Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU).

The aim of the meeting was to become familiar with the innovative activity of the university, inform about the establishment of efficient mutual relations between the university and business companies and transfer of research results of the university employees.

The meeting featured discussions about the methodology of inventing and patenting and the procedure of correctly formalizing the patent requests.
