On December 29 Rector of Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU), Professor Mustafa Babanli held a meeting with newly appointed Board members of the Azerbaijan-UK Alumni Association (AUKAA). The meeting was attended by Head of International Cooperation Office Jamila Ismayilzada, AUKAA Chairperson Tural Maharramov and Board member Samad Shafisoy.

Forthcoming tasks and activities were discussed within the frames of the meeting. A comprehensive discussion was also held about envisaged projects and joint collaboration areas in 2018. AUKAA Chairperson Tural Maharramov put forward a number of project proposals considered to implement jointly with the university.

Expressing satisfaction with seeing the young people at the university, Rector, Professor M. Babanli said joint cooperation is of particular significance for the university. M. Babanli noted that he supports the AUKAA-proposed projects, adding that widespread activities will be carried out to develop further the ties, as well as to realize projects concerning students.
