ASOIU hosts awareness-raising event within the framework of "European HIV testing week"

On November 26, Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU) held an awareness-raising event within the framework of "European HIV testing week" organized by the Center of the battle against AIDS.

At the event, the AIDS Center staff held Human Immunodeficiency Virus Infection lab testing for students. Specialists of the Center provided information to the students about the HIV infection and its prevention, healthy and safe way of living.

Notably, the event took place on November 23-30 within the framework of the “European HIV testing week”. The purpose of holding such events are aimed at preventing the spreading of HIV in Azerbaijan, raising the awareness of population of HIV/AIDS, promoting the healthy and safe way of living.
