SDGs at ASOIU



Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University is committed to fostering a culture of health and well-being among its students, faculty, and staff. One of the key initiatives under the university's health and well-being policy is the promotion of healthy and affordable food choices on campus.

To uphold the highest standards of food safety and quality, the university's canteens are regularly inspected by the Food Security Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan. This collaborative effort ensures compliance with national regulations and guarantees that the food served on campus meets stringent health and safety standards. By working closely with the Food Security Agency, the university demonstrates its dedication to providing safe and nutritious meals to its students, faculty, and staff.

This initiative contributes directly to SDG 2: Zero Hunger by providing access to nutritious food while supporting sustainable food systems on campus. Moreover, by promoting healthy eating habits, the university also aligns with SDG 3: Good Health and Well-being, ensuring that students, faculty, and staff are able to make healthier food choices to support their overall well-being.
