On April 13, a meeting with students was held at the Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU), organized jointly by the “Fight against Leukaemia” Public Association and the university.

ASOIU Vice-Rector for Educational Affairs Associate Professor Ata Babayev greeted the event participants on behalf of the Rector, Professor Mustafa Babanli. Emphasizing the importance of caring for each other, he spoke about the need for such events and informed the students about the purpose of the meeting.

Mehriban Bagirova, the Public Association “Fight against Leukaemia” chairperson, thanked the university administration for creating conditions for meeting with students. In her speech, she spoke about the measures to combat leukaemia.

In informing the participants about the activities of the Public Association, M. Bagirova noted that such educational events are held regularly, and the association supports people suffering from the disease of the same name.

At the meeting, employees of the Public Association “Fight against Leukaemia” made a video presentation on the topic, inviting everyone to participate in this charitable mission.
