Rector of Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU) Professor Mustafa Babanli held a meeting on June 13 with Bakhtiyar Aslanbayli, Communications, External Affairs, Strategy & Region Vice President, Zaur Jabrayil, Events Management and Brand Communications Professional and Elchin Hagverdiyev, Manager for Social Investment and Community Relations at BP Azerbaijan.

Providing the guests with detailed information on the teaching process, international cooperation, Startup school, IT Academy, Rector, Professor M. Babanli noted the significance of broadening the links of companies with the university. Rector M. Babanli talked about the projects of Startup school functioning under ASOIU that has already succeeded to bring a number of innovations to the university. Alongside with training the young professionals, providing them with jobs, improving the knowledge in IT sector, as well as increasing the quality of teaching in English, the Rector also underlined the importance of taking a number of measures for the implementation of Startup projects.

Bakhtiyar Aslanbayli, Communications, External Affairs, Strategy & Region Vice President at BP Azerbaijan informed the attendees about the company's social projects and programs to support education. He pointed out that they are ready to enhance the cooperation between BP Azerbaijan and ASOIU as part of these projects.

The meeting featured discussions regarding the support for startup projects, conduction of seminars for English language teachers and provision of translation of textbooks. The parties agreed to cooperate on new projects.
