ASOIU and Caspian Energy Club ink memorandum of cooperation

A delegation of up to 30 entrepreneurs headed by Telman Aliyev, the Chairman of the Board of Caspian Energy Club, took part in a business tour to the Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU) on January 13. The guests got acquainted with the ASOIU classrooms and laboratories, the Laser Center, the HPC Center, the publishing house, the AzII e-Book House, the Azerbaijani-Turkish Friendship Center, the memorial complex and the classrooms bearing the names of martyr graduates, the educational building and laboratories of UFAZ, operating under the university. Then a meeting was held between ASOIU and the Caspian Energy Club delegations.
Professor Mustafa Babanli, ASOIU Rector, said he was glad to welcome members and Chairman of the Board of the Caspian Energy Club at the university, which has been functioning as the largest network of public and private institutions in the region for many years. M. Babanli, noting the importance of cooperation between university-industry, university-business and, in general, between higher education institutions and employers in the modern world, characterised the Caspian Energy Club as a unique platform that allows you to simultaneously meet with representatives of dozens of companies and discuss cooperation issues. He stressed that there are opportunities for further expanding cooperation between ASOIU and the Caspian Energy Club in organising students' internships and employment. Rector Professor Mustafa Babanli expressed confidence that the meeting would be effective for ASOIU and Caspian Energy Club.
Chairman and CEO of Caspian Energy Club Telman Aliyev expressed satisfaction with what they saw at the university during the visit. He said that the Caspian Energy Club, which unites more than 5 thousand companies and organisations from 50 countries, aims to improve the investment and business environment, as well as to stimulate dialogues in B2G, B2B and B2C formats and participate in these dialogues.
Then ASOIU and Caspian Energy Club inked a Memorandum of Cooperation. Chairman and CEO of Caspian Energy Club Telman Aliyev presented Professor Mustafa Babanli, ASOIU Rector, with a Certificate of Honorary Member of Caspian Energy Club.
