Employees of the Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU) visited the families of martyr graduates of the 44-day Patriotic War on the occasion of the Novruz holiday.

The ASOIU delegation visited martyr families in Baku and various regions of Azerbaijan - Gazakh, Aghstafa, Sheki, Oguz, Neftchala and others. Having greeted, the university representatives conveyed the best wishes on behalf of the Rector, Professor M. Babanli, to the families of the ASOIU graduate martyrs who died for the Motherland, told them about the work carried out at the university to perpetuate the memory of the martyrs. It was also noted that the university would constantly contact the families of the heroic graduates of ASOIU and help them solve their problems. It was pointed out that the families of martyrs will always be welcome guests at the military-patriotic events held at ASOIU. And, by order of Rector Mustafa Babanli, families of heroes will be visited annually on the eve of Novruz. Then the ASOIU delegation presented a festive gift to martyr families.

During the 44-day war, 23 ASOIU graduates heroically fought in the battles for the territorial integrity of our country and became martyrs.
