Competitions have been organized in seven different skill directions for both professionals and talented young beginners. The skills include web technologies, 3D digital game art, culinary arts, barbering, jewellery making, and welding. The successful participants selected will have the opportunity to represent Azerbaijan in the prestigious international competition "WorldSkills Lyon 2024," where more than 80 countries will participate, by joining the "WorldSkills Azerbaijan" national team.

In the final stage of the "Skills Azerbaijan 2023" National competition for web technologies held on November 18-19, Hafiz Huseynov, a 4th-year student in the "Computer Science" specialization at ASOIU, took 1st place, and Seymur Shixalizade, a 3rd-year student in the "Information Security" specialization of ASOIU's SABAH groups, secured the 2nd place.

In this competition among young people up to the age of 21, participants completed practical tasks in 4 different modules.

It should be noted that the winner of the "Skills Azerbaijan 2023" National competition, Hafiz Huseynov, represented our country and secured 6th place overall at the "WorldSkills Asia Abu Dhabi 2023" competition held in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, and received the "Best of Nation" medal for his high score among Azerbaijani representatives.
