Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU) first-year master's student of the Power Engineering Faculty, Paralympian Vali Israfilov, has become the champion of the European Paralympic Championships in swimming among adults held in Madeira, Portugal. Vali Israfilov secured the first-place position in the 100-meter distance, earning a gold medal. This achievement marks his second time as a world champion and now a double European champion.

It's worth noting that Vali Israfilov became the champion in the competition held on April 24 of this year.
