 By the relevant Order of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev a group of public and political figures, as well as scientists and public figures were awarded the jubilee medal of the Republic of Azerbaijan “100th anniversary of Heydar Aliyev (1923-2023)”.

Among the awardees is the Acting Rector of Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU), Associate Professor Vazeh Asgarov, the Chief Scientific Worker of the Scientific Research Institute "Geotechnological Problems of Oil, Gas, and Chemistry" at Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University, Professor Hajan Hajiyev (Hajisoy), and the Advising Professor of the Department of Energy Production Technologies at the Faculty of Power Engineering, Kamal Abdullayev.
