On June 11, a presentation of a bibliographic guide dedicated to the life and pedagogical work of Doctor of Technical Sciences and Consultant-Professor of the "Petrochemical Technology and Industrial Ecology" Department, Alakbar Hasanov, was held at the AzII e-Book House as part of the "Scientists of Azerbaijan in Chemistry" series.

The director of the AzII e-Book House, Salakhat Mahmudova, provided the participants with information about the event and the new publication. Following this, Deputy Vice-Rector for Scientific Affairs at ASOIU, Professor Gahraman Hasanov, Dean of the Faculty of Chemical Technology, Professor Sevinj Mammadkhanova, Dean of the Faculty of Oil Mechanics, Associate Professor Alihikmat Ahmadov, Consultant-Professor of the Faculty of Power Engineering, Kamal Abdullayev, Head of the Department of Petrochemical Technology and Industrial Ecology, Associate Professor Narmina Aliyeva, Head of Laboratory at the Institute of Catalysis and Inorganic Chemistry, Professor Arif Afandi, and Deputy Director of the ANAS Seismology Center, Associate Professor Rauf Muradov shared their thoughts. They spoke about Alakbar Hasanov’s life, pedagogical work, and contributions to the development of science, expressing high regard for the bibliographic guide.

The bibliographic guide, prepared by the AzII e-Book House and published by ASOIU Printing House, is a 2024 publication. It is of high quality and elegantly designed, containing key dates of the scientist’s life and creative work, his published works, articles, theses, and speeches. The new publication is intended for scientists, experts, students, and a broad readership in the fields of petrochemistry and ecology.
