On June 12, a seminar on "ISO 37001" was conducted at Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU) by the "Quality Association" Public Union. The seminar began with a welcoming speech by Associate Professor Gasim Mammadov, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs at ASOIU, who provided information about the event.
Following this, trainer Galib Sharifov discussed the key elements of “ISO 37001” in comparison with “ISO 9001,” the countries that have obtained ISO 37001 certification, and the measures being implemented in Azerbaijan to combat and prevent corruption. The seminar also covered topics such as the digitalization of services provided to citizens and entrepreneurs by government agencies, effective management against corruption risks, and the application of the ISO 37001 international standard. Detailed information was provided on the essential requirements of the ISO 37001 international standard in Azerbaijan and the procedures for its implementation in both public and private institutions. Galib Sharifov also emphasized the importance of training highly qualified personnel in the field of anti-corruption.
The seminar concluded with a discussion on the topic, where participants' questions were addressed.
