On October 2, a seminar was held at Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU) in collaboration with the U.S. Embassy in Azerbaijan, as part of the "Fulbright" program. The seminar was conducted by Julie Shortridge, a teacher from the United States.
Sabina Gurbanova, a representative from the International Cooperation Department, provided participants with information about the seminar.
During the COP29-focused seminar, Julie Shortridge presented the topic, “Supporting transformative adaptation to climate change: How engineers can promote resilience, sustainability, and equity in the face of increasing climate hazards.”
The interactive seminar also included a Q&A session where students' questions were addressed.
