On October 9, Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU), in collaboration with the Azerbaijan Standardization Institute, hosted a workshop titled "The Role of Youth in Standardization for a Sustainable Future."

Sabina Aliyeva, Head of the Internship Division, opened the event with a speech highlighting the importance of youth involvement in standardization and raising awareness in this field.

Jahandar Muradov, Lead Auditor of Management Systems at the Azerbaijan Standardization Institute, delivered a comprehensive presentation on the topic.

Following the presentation, five groups of 45 students discussed topics including ISO 9001:2020-Quality Management System; ISO 14001:2021-Environmental Management System; ISO 45001:2021-Occupational Health and Safety Management System; ISO 50001:2022-Energy Management System; Sustainable Development and Standards. After one hour, they presented their solutions to the issues discussed.

After the presentations, questions on the topics were addressed.

In conclusion, five standout students—Nadir Gasimov, Maryam Isayeva, Elmira Aliyeva, Vasif Alizade, and Turana Yusifova—were awarded by the Azerbaijan Standardization Institute for their successful presentations.
