On October 14, a meeting was held at Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU) with Vice-Rector for International Relations, Associate Professor Rafik Jamalov; Dean of the Faculty of Chemical Technology, Professor Sevinj Mammadkhanova; Deputy Dean for Scientific Affairs, Associate Professor Rana Gurbanova; Associate Professor of the Department of Petrochemical Technology and Industrial Ecology, Irada Khalafova; Ümit Yontar, Digital Solutions Sales Director of “Informascope”; and Ph.D. Sergey Varnavskiy, Manager at Elsevier.

During the meeting, discussions focused on Elsevier, one of the world’s top four scientific publishing houses. Information was also provided on the Reaxys Academic Edition (For Every Chemist), a service that enables researchers and students to safely and easily expand their research interests by accessing its entire database.

The meeting also included an exchange of ideas on potential collaboration opportunities.
