On October 24, Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU) held a warning and assembly drill titled “Organization of Civil Defense (CD) Forces in Emergency Preparedness and Response.” The drill was conducted in line with ASOIU’s annual action plan.

Head of ASOIU’s Civil Defense Headquarters, Elshan Mammadov, addressed participants, highlighting the vital importance of civil defence and the need to make sound decisions during emergencies. He also briefed attendees on the drill’s objectives.

The main aim of the gathering, attended by university staff, was to evaluate the response capabilities of ASOIU's CD leadership, CD unit commanders, and team leaders. Additionally, the drill assessed the coordination between the university’s emergency response commission and the CD headquarters.
