On October 24-25, the 13th International Conference on "Intelligent Systems for Industrial Automation" (WCIS-2024) was held in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, co-chaired by Professor Rafik Aliyev, Director of the BA programs at Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU), and Professor Nodirbek Yusupbekov from Tashkent Technical University.
Organized by ASOIU, the conference honored the memory of Professor Lotfi Zadeh. The event featured around 45 scientific papers presented by scholars from the United States, Canada, Poland, Romania, Sweden, Nigeria, Jordan, Lebanon, Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, Turkey, Cyprus, Russia, Iran, and Iraq. Several prominent professors from various countries co-chaired the sessions.
From ASOIU, Vice-Rector for Scientific Affairs Professor Latafat Gardashova presented on “Z-controller Synthesis,” Professor Kamala Aliyeva from the Instrumentation Engineering Department discussed the “Application of Z-fuzzy Multicriteria Decision-Making Method to Personnel Selection,” and doctoral student Shamil Ahmadov delivered a talk on “Z-number Based Traffic Signal Control.”
ASOIU contributed eight papers, all of which have been accepted for publication.
İt should be noted selected papers from the conference will be indexed in SCOPUS and published in a Springer series book.
