On October 29, a group of students from the Faculty of Oil and Gas Engineering at Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU) attended a practical lesson on "Drilling Techniques and Technology of Oil and Gas Wells" at SOCAR’s Complex Drilling Works Department.

During the visit, Associate Professor Samad Rzazade from the Department of Oil and Gas Engineering introduced the students to drilling equipment and explained their operating principles.

The students observed the drilling process firsthand, gaining practical insight into field operations. They also visited the museum complex at the Bibi-Heybat site, where they viewed Azerbaijan’s first drilled oil well and learned about its historical significance.
